Goldstein Awarded 2013 Harper Lee Prize for Legal Fiction

Paul Goldstein, Stella W. and Ira S. Lillick Professor of Law, received the Harper Lee Prize for Legal Fiction for his third novel, Havana Requiem. The prize, named for the author of To Kill a Mockingbird, is organized by the University of Alabama Law School and the ABA Journal. Goldstein follows authors John Grisham and Michael Connelly in receiving this prize. Goldstein is an expert on intellectual property law and has written a treatise on U.S. copyright law and another on international copyright law in addition to casebooks on the topic.
